The Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum is the world’s largest computer museum, and it’s the venue for our conference’s opening keynote address. We will arrange a special visit to the museum’s exhibitions for conference participants free of charge.
Conference Dinner
Where: Gut Lippeesee, Paderborn
When: Wednesday, September 6, 2023; 7 pm
Costs: 80 €
Enjoy Westphalian hospitality and regional specialities in the elegant hall of a former 19th-century farmhouse!
The fee includes a three-course dinner, all drinks, and a bus shuttle (both ways) between Paderborn and Gut Lippesee.
Guided City Tours
Where: Townhall Paderborn
When: Thursday, September 7, 2023; 6 pm to 7:30 pm
Costs: 5 €
The guided city tours will be conducted by Tourist Information Paderborn. Each tour lasts approximately 90 minutes.
Water Skiing
Where: Nesthauser See, Paderborn
When: Saturday, September 9, 2023; 10 am to 4 pm
Costs: 25 €
The Paderborn skiing tradition, which started with the DHd 2020 conference, will of course continue this summer — just on a wetter aggregate state than snow! After the more or less athletic activity, where even beginners will have fun, we will enjoy the rest of Saturday with a BBQ by the lake.
